Lining Your Soap Mould

We have had a number of emails from students and customers who want to know the easiest way for lining their soap mould in preparation for soap making.

Instead of a lengthy description, I thought that a picture, or in this case a video, is worth a thousand words.

Within the video, I show our very simple technique for lining your soap mould with cling wrap.

We find that this is a lot easier than using parchment or baking paper, and the final product is just as good.  As the soap batter is poured into the lined mould, the wrap usually flattens to make a fairly smooth surface.
