Using Himalayan Rock Salt in Soap

Salt in soap?  That’s a bit unusual isn’t it?

Well not if it is Himalayan Rock salt in soap!  Himalayan Salt has been touted to offer detoxifying benefits, stimulate circulation, and soothe sore muscles.  It’s pink in colour because it’s rich in 84 essential minerals and vitamins, including naturally occurring iodine. We think it’s the perfect addition to a bar of soap.

So how did we make it, I hear you ask.  Well, it was quite easy and to show how simple it was to make I created a video so that you can make it using some of our soap making kits and supplies.

To make this soap, you will need the following items;

• Plain and Simple Soap Making Kit which contains the oils and instruction booklet.
• Soap Making Equipment Pack
• Caustic Soda (Sodium Hydroxide)
• Ocean Breeze Fragrance Oil
• Titanium Dioxide Pigment
• Blue and Green Soap Colours, and
• Himalayan Rock Salt

Then just follow our simple instructions included in the kit and within the video tutorial.  4 to 6 weeks later you will have simply amazing soap to use or share with your friends and family.  Try some Himalayan rock in soap today!
