The Maturation box is an essential piece of home cheese making equipment and suited to creating the required humidity for mould ripened or bloomy rind cheeses such as Camembert, Blue, Stilton, and Brie.
It also protects from cross contamination of bacteria and moulds within your cheese fridge keeping other moulds from inoculating your precious creation. During the first week of aging, make sure you open the box once a day to ensure oxygen flow around the cheese.
Suitable for ripening two Camemberts made with our Camembert Cheese Kit, or one Blue cheese using our 165mm cheese mould.
