Soy Candle Making Courses
Kim teaches the art of soy candle making. It is an environmentally friendly way to add mood lighting to your home.
Courses are held at the Melton South Community Centre in Melton South, which is part of Greater Melbourne, Victoria.
If you don’t live in the area that we currently service, that’s okay because we still have a solution for you. We have a comprehensive range of Soy candle making kits with full instructions available in the shop.
Learn how to make your own Soy Candles, they are 100% natural and better for the environment. Watch a demonstration and learn the various techniques involved and all the benefits of Soy Wax.
Students will then under supervision make and take home the following: Glass cube fragrance coloured candle, plain candle in Mosaic glass holder, a pack of Soy Melts for oil burners, and a choice of one of the following 4 tea lights or 2 Maxi tea lights.
Comprehensive notes provided to take home. Extra supplies are available for purchase on the day from the tutor.
2017 Term two course dates are now available for booking.
Please book by calling the Melton South Community Centre using the phone number within the listing.
So you think that making a candle is just melting wax and pouring it into container with a wick? Think again. I’ve been thoroughly educated (and entertained) and now feel confident to be able to make my own scented candles for personal use and gifts. Thanks Kim for such an enjoyable workshop. Looking forward to more. Thanks also to Kim and Gav for making it easy to source eco supplies at your one stop online shop.
I thank you both sincerely for teaching the soy candle making this morning. Your bright bubbly attitudes and attention to detail in teaching, is to be complimented. I enjoyed it thoroughly, as I also did with the soap making class last week. To take your beautifully hand-made products home is a pleasure. Once again, thank you
