Product Description

This 30 minute Mozzarella and Ricotta cheese making kit is ideal for beginners.  In no time flat, you can be sampling your creation with a slice of homegrown tomato, basil, and some freshly baked bread.  I can think of nothing better as a summer treat.

This Mozzarella and Ricotta Cheese Making kit includes:

  • 12 page Recipe / Instruction Booklet
  • Loose Weave Cheesecloth
  • 200 mm Dairy Thermometer
  • 10 Vegetable Rennet Tablets
  • 10 gm Lipase Powder
  • 250 gm Cheese Salt
  • 250 gm Citric Acid
  • 50 ml Calcium Chloride

There are enough ingredients in the kit to make about 13.5 kilograms of cheese (up to 40 batches).  Yum!

We do ship these products Australia wide, however this kit contains ingredients that do require long-term storage in a freezer, upon arrival.  Extended time out of a freezer will decrease the shelf life.

    Prompt delivery and easy to use kit!

    I found that i made my ricotta too dry by squeezing out too much moisture, which i will not do again.

    I used lactose free milk which turned out perfect, and I used half reduced fat milk in the recipe which still provided a great result.

    Loved the kit. I’d always wanted to try making my own cheese and this kit made it incredibly easy.

    So after it arrived in record time, I went off to the shops and bought a bunch of milk and got to work.

    I found the instructions easy to follow and in no time flat I had made a delicious mozzarella that looked exactly like the one in the picture. I added the Lipase so the following day it tasted even better.

    Couldn’t recommend it higher and next I’ll be getting the Hard Cheese kit.

    This kit was delivered promptly. Was keen to try out but unable to do so until last week! It seemed to curdle rather than set but I persevered and the result was fantastic. I think maybe I over stirred before setting. Small balls of beautiful Mozzarella. Made a lovely Mozzarella and Tomato salad with Basil and olive oil. Yum.

    Will be doing another batch today.

    Next – Camembert !
