Creator Showcase – Jess Wearne

Our first creator showcase features Jess Wearne who has been a customer since February 2019. We love how our customers like Jess, turn our raw goods and kits into works of art and use them to create a small business.

So let me introduce Jess.  She makes and sells Luxury Soy Wax candles, home fragrances, and hand made soaps on her Etsy store, Candle Lane Co.

She decided to start selling handmade products because she has skin sensitivities and asthma. She didn’t want to be breathing in any harsh or unnecessary chemicals that are in some store-bought candles, and she didn’t want to be using any harsh or undesirable chemicals on her delicate skin that is in most store bought soaps.

“I like making and creating things, so it was an easy decision for me to try and make them on my own. Creating my handmade products is a way to relax and unwind after work, and brings me a sense of joy. Nearly as much joy as getting to share my creations with others.

I love knowing that others are enjoying pampering themselves with my high-quality handmade products, whilst also helping to create a healthier life for them, with fewer chemicals”, Jess says.

She lives in Melbourne, Australia, with her fiancé Dan, and their gorgeous old Golden Retriever Millie. She loves handcrafting home fragrance, and bath and body products, but most of all, she loves sharing them with you.
