This is a nice beginners pack for the new cheesemaker. The curd knife is great, and the tiny measuring spoons are lovely. The thermometer does the job but the spike could be longer, it doesn’t reach to my milk unless I use 10 litres instead of 8. I didn’t really need new measuring cups but I figure you can’t have too many of them. One of the cheese boards warped a bit but not enough to matter. I’m having a lovely time making all sorts of cheeses using this kit and other items purchased from this site. Service had been very friendly and prompt. Gavin’s videos and blog posts are a great resource.
Thanks for bringing the cheese board issue to our attention Janet. We have since replaced the original pine boards with sturdy bamboo boards that don’t warp when wet.
